Backing for Scotrail jobs dispute

22 November 2011

Scotrail drivers in Glasgow last night heard the union’s current and future general secretaries pledge ‘all the support you need’ from the union at national level in their dispute over jobs with the rail company. Mick and the union’s president Alan Donnelly fully endorsed the way the union’s officer in Scotland, Kevin Lindsay, was conducting the dispute.

The meeting had been emotional throughout, as it marked the final visit of current general secretary Keith Norman to Scotland in his last week in office.
