Four year pay deal proposed at LUL

A proposed four-year pay agreement between ASLEF and London Underground Limited is to be put to union members in a referendum over the coming weeks - with a recommendation that it is accepted.

The offer comprises

  • Year one – 5%
  • Years two to four – Inflation (RPI) plus 0.5%, with 2% underpinned.

In addition other issues would be resolved as a result of the negotiatons, including

  • Career breaks
  • The right to work Bank Holidays
  • Payment for all New Years Eve nights.

A temporary agreement is to be reached on Boxing Day this year at the Trains Council. ASLEF representatives in the company will be released to discuss the proposed deal with members.
