DBS IM strike called off

07 March 2012

Industrial action planned by ASLEF train drivers working for DB Shenker Infrastructure Monitoring on 8 March has been called off. Negotiators believe they have a solution to the pay dispute, which has led to four days of industrial action so far.

The negotiating team has secured an improved offer from the company and as a result the Executive Committee has suspended the proposed action and is arranging a membership referendum on the issue.

Infrastructure Monitoring is concerned with important safety work as it is engaged in ultrasonic and high-speed testing of the track and overhead cabling for Network Rail.
