ASLEF members vote to retain the Political Fund

ASLEF members have voted by a massive four to one majority to retain the union"s political fund.

 

In the postal ballot ASLEF members voted on a 49% turnout to keep the fund in place.

 

Nearly half, a total of 8,185 members, voted in the highest recorded union turnout.

 

Of those, 6,516 (79%) voted yes to retain the political fund

and 1,669 (20.4%) voted no.
