Off the Rails

The McNulty Report which was released in May contains the recommendations which will form the basis of the coalition government’s plans for rail over the coming years. Charged with producing proposals to offer ‘value for money in the rail industry’ its recommendations will lead to a poorer railway service increasingly funded by passengers rather than by central government. ASLEF has highlighted the most dangerous aspects to inform a campaign against the proposals.
