Building an Internet Café

ASLEF ULR Stephen Honhold has been running a Build your own computer course at Milton Keynes in his spare time. Through the generosity of the computer equipment donated by family and friends, the use of a room at London Midland trains and the on-going support from his branch and the ASLEF Education Team, Stephen and his pupils are working towards rebuilding 8 fully functional computers from the 12 donated.

Thanks to Stephen's knowledge, skills and enthusiasm as a ULR he is hoping to donate the completed computers to a local Internet Café and a Silver Surfers club soon. Watch this space for an update on how this project develops over the coming months.
