Further Funding Secured in Scotland

ASLEF in Scotland have successfully secured two lots of funding from Scottish Union Learning, the education wing of the STUC. The money comes from SUL’s Learning Fund and will provide two courses, one in Motherwell and one in Edinburgh.
The course to be run in Motherwell is a basic home maintenance and building skills course. It will cover many aspect of DIY and will be held in Motherwell College with classes being run in the morning and repeated in the evening to suit shifts and it will be free to ASLEF members.
The second course to be held at Jewel & Esk College in Dalkeith is a basic car maintenance course. Again this course will be shift friendly, run in the morning and repeated in the afternoon and be free to ASLEF members.
