18 Nov 2011

We encourage all learning and will reward you for using your initiative. If you have enrolled on a course independently, through a local providers, you maybe entitled to claim a learning bursary to help towards the course costs. There are two types of learning bursaries, the first for further education which funds up to £30 per course and the second is for higher learning where the course fee can be reimburse up to the sum of £150.

To apply for a learning bursary simply fill out the bursary form and send it in with a copy of your receipt. Each claim is looked at individually and money allocated accordingly. You will also be asked to complete an equality & diversity form before a cheque is awarded.

If you would like to expand your skills and knowledge but the cost is an obstacle get in contact, as there are many courses available free of charge that might suit your needs.

You never know you may be eligible for additional support.
