PT & R Update

The PT & R issues that the Company Council have been dealing with have been resolved
Crewe
After a succesful mitigation exercise and a considerable amount of hard work by the Local Level Reps at Crewe the Company Council were able to successfully negotiate the retention of Crewe as a viable Traincrew Depot,albeit with a reduced Complement of Drivers.
The surplus Drivers at Crewe have all been accomodated at either Bescot or Peak Forest Depots and a number have elected to leave the Company and take up new roles as Drivers at other TOC'S or FOC'S.
Rugby
Unfortunately the decision was made to close Rugby Traincrew Depot and the closure will take effect on the 24th December.All Traincrew who have stayed with DB Schenker have been accomodated at Peterborough,Leicester and Bescot Traincrew Depots and a number have elected to leave the Company.
Bristol
The surplus of Drivers at Bristol Barton Hill was succesfully mitigated due to a number of Drivers electing to leave the Company and take on roles within other TOC's.
The Company Council would like to thank the Drivers at thge affected Depots for their patience and solidarity.
