Further Strikes on Eurostar

Further strike action will take place on Eurostar between 00:01 on Saturday 26th December and 23:59 on Sunday 27th December 2009.

Nothing could have prevented or foreseen the engine breakdowns, however Eurostar management's failure to seriously negotiate or talk with us over non payment of expenses means the situation has been made worse, with no drivers available for rescue and train movement. We couldn't have prevented it, but we could have improved it.
