Eurostar strikes called off

Strikes planned by ASLEF at Eurostar for 5-9 February and 1-9 April have been suspended following talks yesterday between the Chief Executive of Eurostar and a union team led by general secretary Keith Norman.

‘A provisional agreement has been reached in the dispute, which concerns the falling value of our members’ international subsistence allowances,’ Keith says. ‘It will be put to the Executive Committee for a formal decision when it meets in ten days’ time.’
