A major new analysis laying out in detail a possible policy route to achieve a better railway has been published. The Rebuilding Rail report presents innovative positive options, recommending a radical yet pragmatic approach through which a future Labour Government could address the deep-seated operational problems, extra expenses and travel inconvenience caused by the fragmentation and privatisation of Britain’s railway system.
