Qualified Train Drivers

Location: Old Oak Common & Plumstead Depots

Salary: £57, 035

MTR Crossrail are looking for Qualified Train Drivers who are highly committed and customer focused, to really add value to their business servicing the Elizabeth Line. They require a small group of experienced train drivers to join the driver team based at the brand new depot at Old Oak Common.

o   Are you a train driver who is passionate about improving train performance and your customers travel experience?

o   Are you willing to embrace new technologies and achieve industry leading safety levels?

Applicants will ideally have a minimum of 2 years experience train driving along with a good safety of the line record. You will also need to have the ability to work under pressure and react positively to unforeseen circumstances.

Driver Team Leaders.

Location: Old Oak Common & Plumstead Depots

Salary: £57, 035 plus a £2,852 pensionable allowance

MTR Crossrail are currently recruiting Driver Team Leaders to help  ensure Drivers are fully competent. As a Driver Team Leader your primary responsibility will be the coaching and instructing of Drivers and Trainee Drivers.

You will be expected to contribute to improving train performance, achieving industry leading safety levels, delivering exceptional customer service and embracing new technologies.

There will be opportunities to develop through assisting with training and undertaking Driver assessments as well as supporting Driver Team Managers with their duties.

This role will require shift work and a minimum of two years full train Driver competence and a thorough knowledge of operational rules and regulations is essential.

Driver Instructor

Location: Old Oak Common & Plumstead Depots

Salary: £57, 035 plus £2, 333 non pensionable allowance

MTR Crossrail are currently recruiting Driver Instructors to support their driver training programme. Your responsibilities will include coaching and instructing trainee drivers on route knowledge, traction and rules to attain their competence. You will also be expected to proactively encourage the development of Non-Technical Skills and Personal Protection Strategies.

You will be expected to contribute to improving train performance, achieving industry leading safety levels, completing customer satisfaction targets and embracing new technologies. The role will require shift work and train driving experience is essential.
