Talks to take place over EMT dispute

Talks have been arranged between the union and East Midland Trains in an effort to resolve the dispute over pensions that has resulted in service disruption over the past week. The discussions will take place on Thursday 10 May following an approach from the company. The union’s negotiating team will be led by the Mick Whelan General Secretary along with President Alan Donnelly and Dicky Fisher, the full-time officer responsible for EMT.
