100% backing on Tube Lines dispute

30 January 2013

ASLEF members working in Tube Lines have unanimously supported three days (4, 18 and 25 January) industrial action in the company in a dispute about the harassment procedure. The action was backed by all drivers, all managers, all trainers – and all members of other unions.

No Tube Lines trains ran on these days and no engineering work took place.

Meanwhile, the company is understood to want to split maintenance into three areas – a plan that is suspiciously akin to the discredited Public Private Partnership proposals.

The next moves in the dispute will be discussed at the Branch Meeting to be held on 6 February.
