Bob Crow commemoration

21 March 2014

The funeral will be a private service, taking place on Monday 24 March at the City of London Cemetery and Crematorium. While the family asks that the private service is respected, they do recognize that friends and acquaintances may want the opportunity to say goodbye.

A delegation of ASLEF members will be among the friends and colleagues from the trade union and labour movement who will line the route of the funeral procession to the City of London Cemetery and Crematorium. For full details of the funeral procession route click here.

Donations on behalf of Bob may be made to the British Heart Foundation and a dedicated area has been set up by the family on the British Heart Foundation’s website. This can be accessed using this link.

Furthermore,at the family’s request the RMT have called for National Mobilisation at the London May Day march and rally, to honour Bob and his legendary championing of workers’ rights. As every year on May Day, ASLEF will be represented at the march and rally.
