Rail Accident Investigation branch guidance

The Rail Accident Investigation branch (RAIB) have issued guidance to help the rail industry understand and comply with the new legal requirements.

The guidance explains the duties of the railway industry including: the notification of certain types of accident and incident; the preservation and use of evidence; and the provision of assistance to RAIB. It also covers the requirements of RAIB in relation to its investigation of accident and incidents.
