Hope for Christmas benefit gig

07 October 2014

ASLEF, the FBU, GMB, Hope Not Hate and Thompsons solicitors are co-sponsoring a benefit gig on the 12th December 2014, to provide a bit of help for those who need it, to campaign for change, and stand up to bullies.

Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott will be performing at Manchester Academy 2 along with Golinski Brothers and The Lottery Winners.

People who attend the gig are asked to bring along a non-perishable food item that we can then give to the Food Banks to distribute at Christmas. A bag of rice, a tin of beans, some toothpaste a deodorant– simple things that people need but are finding it hard to provide for themselves or their families as the Tory government and their allies cut further into the working class by cutting jobs and benefits to help provide tax cuts to their mates.

The money raised will be put into education and campaign projects that fight racism, to help and educate people most vulnerable.

Tickets cost £20 and can be booked here:
