Level Crossing incident - Greenford

28 July 2005

ASLEF is aware that an incident took place in the Greenford area involving a passenger train and lorry at 09:50 hrs 20/10/04 at an open level crossing

We are of course concerned for the welfare and safety of the both drivers and for the travelling public involved in this incident.

However ASLEF firmly believes that all level crossings on the railway network should be removed where practically possible.
