ASLEF at UN Anti-Racism Day Demonstrations

ASLEF members will be marching against racism and fascism at demonstrations organised by Stand Up to Racism in London, Glasgow and Cardiff on Saturday 16th March 2019 as part of a global day of action to mark UN Anti-Racism Day.


The rallies across the country will be demanding an end to the scapegoating of immigrants, Islamophobia and antisemitism.


Trade unionists, students, people of all faiths and none, migrants, musicians, teachers, pensioners and parents will unite in the face of racism.


All branches and banners are invited to join the demonstrations.


Meeting points:

London - 12 noon, Park Lane, W1 (lower end near Hyde Park Corner station)

Glasgow - 11am, George Square, G2 1DH

Cardiff - 11am, City Hall, CF10 3ND


Members of the ASLEF BAME Representative Committee will be joining the London rally and would welcome as many ASLEF members, branches and banners as possible to join them.
