Llangennech diesel spill

27 August 2020

A freight train carrying diesel was derailed, and caught fire, at Llangennech, near Llanelli, in Carmarthenshire on Wednesday night. Some of the fuel spilled into the nearby River Loughor. The freight train driver, and an engineer who was on board, were not injured.   The RAIB is investigating.
